LACTOSE INTOLERENCE
#

Can you still enjoy dairy products if you are lactose intolerant?

Most people who are lactose intolerant are still able to enjoy some milk and milk products in their diet. The levels of intolerance vary between individuals. New research suggests that most people can enjoy up to two cups of milk a day if taken with a meal and/or in small amounts at a time.

Can those with lactose intolerance include yogourt in their diets?

A special enzyme called lactase is produced by the culture found in yogourt and helps to digest lactose. The result is the maximum benefit from yogourt including its rich calcium, phosphorus and vitamin B content.
