NUTRITIONAL VALUE OF CHOCOLATE MILK
#
Is chocolate milk good for you?

Absolutely. One cup of chocolate milk is equal to one serving from the dairy products food group of Canada's food guide. Chocolate milk is an excellent source of calcium and vitamin D as well as the other essential nutrients found in white milk. One cup of chocolate milk provides 300 mg of calcium, just like one cup of white milk.

Chocolate milk also has the same amount of fat as its white milk counterpart, for example, 1% chocolate milk has the same amount of fat as 1% milk.

Chocolate milk contains an equivalent amount of sugar as a glass of orange juice and it makes an excellent sport recovery drink.
